Celebrate summer snacking with Easthampton Clay! In honor of Strawberry season, workshop participants will create berry baskets, ideal for rinsing your fruit or veg. Learn to work with slabs, and use a variety of other handbuilding techniques to make a basket that's uniquely yours. At the end of this workshop, participants will select a glaze color of their choice for Easthampton Clay to finish your pieces in. We will email participants when their work is fully fired and ready for pick up.

We're welcoming fall with this autumnal workshop! Participants will learn to construct a functional apple pie baking dish that's uniquely theirs. Students will learn to work with slabs, and use a variety of traditional handbuilding techniques to create their dishes, just in time for apple season. At the end of this workshop, participants will select a glaze color of their choice for Easthampton Clay to finish your pieces in. We will email participants when their work is fully fired and ready for pick up.

Friday, September 25th, 6-8PM
Join us for a fun evening of handbuilding, where participants will construct a small sugar skull dish using traditional handbuilding and surface design techniques. We're celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Easthampton Clay! Acknowledging the deep Mesoamerican roots of the sugar skull, participants will walk away from this workshop with a beautiful, functional piece for their homes and memories to last just as long as their dishes. We'll reach out by email when work is ready fired and ready for pick up.

Friday, October 2nd, 6-8pm
Spooky season is here... celebrate with clay! In this workshop, participants will create a ghost lanterns that's uniquely their own. These lanterns will be constructed from slabs and decorated in your own personal ghost style. All ages (7y/o+) are welcome, please note children registered must have a parent also registered and present for this workshop. Easthampton Clay will fire and glaze your lanterns, and we will reach out once they're ready to be picked up, just in time for Halloween!

Get ready for the Winter Solstice, join us for an evening of handbuilt magic! Participants will learn to work with slabs, and use a variety of other handbuilding techniques to create an organic alter that's uniquely their own. The solstice reminds us to celebrate the promise of light with intention. At the end of this workshop, participants will select a glaze color for Easthampton Clay to finish their alters with. We will email you when work is ready for pick up, right in time for the Winter Solstice!
